* Guyra has caravan/cabin park, 2 hotels, & Shiralee motel only.
* Plus upstairs Hall of Fame rooms, call James on 0423 478 656.
* Hotels usually half-price, also surrounding towns. Armidale is close.
* SUPERB climate in October, choose or extend your stay!
* ASK about Limited "FREE" accommodation.
* Or bring camping tents/bedding. Plenty of Land!
* Stay/Visit the Land+homestead 40km away.
* All roads to Guyra at 1330m elevation!
* Rosies just south of Guyra is best value roadhouse.
* Poetry Hall of Fame time 2 to 8pm.
* Band 3 to 6pm nominal.
* Vegetarian food served 4 to 8pm.
* Bring at Least One Joke! (plenty on-line).
* Or some snags, bring meat for bbq facility.
* Airport in Armidale but flights may be costly.

* We've done the Melbourne to Guyra trip several times. Generally two nights,
or one night pet-friendly accommodation if leaving early. Newell Highway inland
is best via Tocumwal or Wagga Wagga, West Wyalong, Parkes, Dubbo, Coonabarabran,
Tamworth, & then climb. Or go through magnificent Sydney freeways through
Newcastle then Walcha. Many enjoyable trips! Recommend car-pool.
